What drives its value
The price guide places a Mint copy of this Guns N' Roses single at $73.65, a VG+ copy at $50.39 and a VG copy at $34.89; these condition-specific estimates show how the quoted value changes with grade. The listed lowest price is $10, with 20 copies for sale, so that listing snapshot is separate from the guide’s grade estimates.
Community data records 241 wants and 1163 haves, a demand signal that should be read alongside the available listings rather than as proof of scarcity. This is the UK issue on Geffen Records and Uzi Suicide Records, not a basis for assuming the value of another country’s pressing or a different issue.
The GFST 9 catalogue number and EMI Records pressing identification make it possible to distinguish this copy when comparing listings.
How to appraise this pressing
Confirm the UK “Don't Cry” issue by matching its Geffen Records and Uzi Suicide Records labels with catalogue number GFST 9. The dead-wax evidence is especially specific: the A side reads GFST 9 A - 1U-1-1 and the B side reads GFST 9 B - 1U-1-1.
EMI Records is identified as the pressing plant, which supports comparison with copies described as this pressing rather than with another issue. The record is a 12-inch, 45 RPM stereo single with three tracks, details that should agree with the listing and physical copy.
A barcode is recorded for this release, but no barcode digits are supplied here, so verify the barcode against a reliable copy-specific reference instead of relying on an assumed number. For grading, compare the copy honestly with the price guide’s condition labels: its estimates are $73.65 for M, $50.39 for VG+ and $34.89 for VG.
Those are guide values, not guaranteed sale prices.
