About this record
Catalogue CBS 450646 1 is the Italian LP of Dedicated To The Moon, the 1987 album by Ivana Spagna on CBS, and it sits in the Italy column of the release history. The catalogue number is the first thing to check, because the only other listed pressing is the UK edition carrying the same number as 450646 1 on CBS.
A 5099745064618 barcode is printed on this copy, which lets a buyer match it against a sleeve in hand. Demand is the other story: 203 collectors list this release as have against 69 who want it.
What drives its value
The price guide puts the Italian LP at 24.55 USD in Mint, 21.97 USD in Near Mint, 16.80 USD in VG+ and 11.63 USD in VG. That spread from Mint to VG is wide, so the grade of the sleeve and disc decides most of the price.
Only 1987 Italian pressing is priced here, and lowest_price and num_for_sale are not recorded, so there is no live asking-price snapshot to set against the guide. The UK CBS pressing under 450646 1 is the only other edition on file, and its presence means the Italian copy competes with an English-market alternative of the same title and catalogue run.
Community ratings from 18 votes average 3.89, which adds a small amount of confidence to the demand figures. Treat the 24.55 USD Mint figure as a guide value dated to the source, not a sold price.
How to appraise this pressing
Confirm the pressing by reading the catalogue number CBS 450646 1 on the spine and the label, then match the 5099745064618 barcode on the back cover. The UK edition shares the 450646 1 number, so the country is the deciding mark: the Italian copy should be identified by its Italian label text and the barcode rather than the number alone.
The dead-wax matrix string is not on file for this record, so a buyer should read the runout directly and compare it with a verified Italian sample instead of trusting a matrix from memory. Grade the sleeve and the vinyl separately: a VG+ jacket with a Near Mint disc is a different proposition from a VG sleeve with a Mint record.
Assign the grade against the 16.80 USD VG+ and 21.97 USD NM guide points, and note any seam split, ring wear or audible surface noise on all ten tracks before quoting a price.
