The Vocaleers – I Walk Alone / How Soon

About this record

This US pressing of The Vocaleers' 7-inch single on Lost Nite Records, catalogue number LN-339, is a reissue issued on 45 RPM. The pressing stands out for being a Lost Nite reissue rather than an original release, which affects its collector profile.

With only 2 copies documented in the community as owned and no current wants, it reflects a niche market presence.

What drives its value

The price guide data for this Lost Nite LN-339 reissue shows a Mint copy valued at 2, a VG+ copy at 2, and a VG copy also at 2. This identical price across grades indicates very limited market activity or consistent low pricing.

Currently, there are 2 copies for sale at the lowest price point of 2. The absence of demand (0 want) combined with the reissue status rather than original pressing keeps values modest compared to original US Doo Wop singles.

Being a Lost Nite reissue from the US market places it in a secondary tier for collectors focused on original Rock and Blues vinyl.

How to appraise this pressing

To verify this pressing, collectors should confirm the Lost Nite Records label and the catalogue number LN-339 on the 7-inch vinyl. It is a 45 RPM reissue format, which distinguishes it from any original pressings.

The lack of a barcode and no provided matrix or dead wax inscriptions means verification relies on the label and catalogue number. Grading should focus on sleeve and vinyl surface condition, but note the price guide shows no difference between Mint, VG+, and VG grades, all valued at 2, reflecting the constrained market for this reissue.
